An Evening with the Bishop of Zimbabwe
May 31

We are blessed to have the Bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Zimbabwe, Bishop Dube, his wife, and his General Secretary visiting the NFCLYO!  You won't want to miss it on Thursday, May 31 from 7-8:30 pm at Zion Lutheran Church in Clarence Center.  We'll play some silly games, and have lots of conversation about ministry in Zimbabwe, a Q and A session, and devotions with our guests.  No cost, no registrations needed.  Snacks provided.  Hope you can make it!  Contact rick@nfclyo for any questions.

Muddy Viking

"Muddy Viking" comes to LCLC October 13

Don’t miss out on the first-ever “Muddy Viking” mud run for the benefit of Lake Chautauqua Lutheran Center and Lutheran Charities of Western NY. For more details or to register today, please visit the Muddy Viking website.  The Muddy Viking includes ravine runs, trampolines in the Lake, 150′ slip n slides, and the famous LCLC “Cesspond”!

Help feed and serve others

The NFCLYO has connected with the food pantry at Resurrection Lutheran Church on Buffalo's East Side.  Members of the CORE Team are serving at the pantry, allowing it to be open the third Saturday each month.  And to help out, all NFCLYO Events are collecting food to donate to the Resurrection Food Pantry.  So, when coming to an NFCLYO event, bring along a non-perishable food item in good condition.  We'll bring those to the pantry for immediate availability and meet needs among those struggling to make ends meet!Helping others at the Resurrection Food Pantry

And…if your church or group is looking for a really neat service opportunity, The Resurrection Food Pantry is available for small groups to work on the third Saturday each month!  From 9:30-noon, groups can come and stock shelves, prepare food for distribution and serve clients that come in for services.  Give Rick MG a call at (716) 465-1321 for more info and to schedule your group…individuals welcome too!
